PHILOSOPHY
The School’s philosophy is that students are molded into the Divine, reflecting Palawan Adventist Academy, “the School that Lights the Isle.”
MISSION
Palawan Adventist Academy aims on the systematic development of the whole person in the acquisition of right knowledge and skills. It inculcates in the mind of the students a vivid understanding of the relationship to God, the church, and the world. Students are to develop the tools of independent thought and expression which provide a basis for responsible, creative and adaptive participation in a rapidly changing society. Finally, it fosters the active integration of faith, learning, and culture and maximum academic achievement with dedication to service.
VISION
Palawan Adventist Academy envisions itself to be a leading institution dedicated to wholistic instruction, quality Christian life and community service.
OBJECTIVES
SPIRITUAL
1. To develop an understanding of the basic teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as found in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy.
2. To lead students to a meaningful commitment to Christ, and to develop a happy confidence in God.
3. To inspire students for a meaningful outreach experience in the church and community.
MENTAL
1. To develop intellectual excellence.
2. To develop skills in decision-making and independent thought.
3. To develop basic skills, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and habits of accuracy.
SOCIAL
1. To develop significant Christian personality modeled after the personality of Christ.
2. To uphold the practice of wholesome social standard.
PHYSICAL
1. To be aware that the human body is the temple of God.
2. To uphold the dignity of labor and pride for a job well done.
3. To maintain personal health and physical fitness through the physical and work education programs.
